The Marionville Volunteer Fire Department is a vital part of our community, providing fire protection, emergency response, and life-saving services to Marionville and the surrounding areas. Staffed by dedicated volunteers, the department is committed to protecting lives, property, and the well-being of our community—often responding at a moment’s notice, day or night.

In 2026, the Marionville Fire Auxiliary proudly came alongside the department to support fundraising efforts. Through community events, donations, and local support, the Auxiliary helps provide essential equipment, training resources, and financial assistance—ensuring the fire department can continue serving Marionville safely and effectively.

Community support makes this service possible. Contributions, volunteers, and local involvement directly impact the department’s ability to respond when it matters most.

In 2026, Marionville took an important step forward by restoring its local police department. The return of the Marionville Police Department reflects the community’s commitment to public safety, local accountability, and a stronger presence within the city.

Having a local police department allows for quicker response times, increased visibility, and officers who know the community they serve. This return supports proactive policing, community engagement, and collaboration with residents, businesses, and local organizations to help keep Marionville a safe and welcoming place to live and work.
