Pie Auction

A Season of Giving:

Thanksgiving in Marionville

Thanksgiving in Marionville is centered on generosity, tradition, and caring for one another. Each year, following the community Thanksgiving church service, a beloved pie auction is held and hosted by the Marionville Ministerial Alliance. Proceeds from the auction help provide Christmas support for local families in need.

The Ministerial Alliance partners with Care to Learn – Marionville to ensure families are cared for throughout the holiday season. With the support of community members and local businesses, gifts and food baskets are distributed to families across the community.

In addition, Care to Learn hosts an annual Thanksgiving feast the week before Thanksgiving. The entire community is invited to enjoy a traditional meal, lovingly prepared and served by local teachers—a meaningful reminder that in Marionville, the holidays are about coming together and giving back.
